What's new

What changed in Censuma and when. Newest first; older entries are not rewritten.

Roster statuses are yours

  • Define the statuses your roster actually uses. Under Configuration → Payroll → Statuses you can rename the ones that come with the account, retire them and add others, like «Unpaid leave». Each one carries a checkbox, «Can receive surveys», that decides whether its people take part in studies and count toward your plan's people cap. A new status is born without the checkbox: nobody receives a survey until you decide it.
  • The minimum tenure to answer is now configurable. It was a fixed 3 months; it lives under Configuration → General, between 0 and 60 months, and applies to the studies you set up from then on.

Cancel your plan from your account

  • Cancelling no longer means writing to us. It lives in My account → Plan and subscription, and it states up front what happens: everything keeps working until the last day of the period you already paid for, and after that the account becomes read-only with your results still available.
  • People answering a survey now see a privacy notice before the first question, on kiosk and by email alike. It comes from the text you configure in Configuration → General, with a ready-made model to adapt.
  • Legal documents are accepted on entry. If you were invited to an account —or if we update one— you are asked once, with the link to read them.

Going over the people limit no longer blocks you

  • People above what your plan includes don't block anything: they are billed per head. The plan screen tells you how many are over and what they add up to, and announces the rate before you go over, not after.
  • Email invitations have a per-period limit and it is now actually enforced. If a large send doesn't fit, what fits goes out and the rest stays queued instead of being lost.
  • The custom plan can be requested from the pricing screen. It existed before and appeared nowhere.

The kiosk QR no longer expires

  • A kiosk station lives until someone closes it. Closing the tab or turning the tablet off used to delete the station, and the device had to be registered again with a new QR. A code taped to a wall now still works tomorrow.
  • The QR can be viewed again from the station's card. It used to be shown once, and closing the dialog without copying it left the tablet with no way to pair.
  • In exchange, "Delete" is now how you revoke a station's link: as long as it exists, the code works.
  • The header shows where you are, with the full trail down to the current screen.

Choose which model you measure Satisfaction with

  • Four theoretical models are available and the account picks which one it measures with. All questionnaire configuration stays inside the chosen model, never mixed.
  • Switching models breaks the historical series, and now you can see it. The point where you switched is marked inside the chart, with the name of the incoming model: an unmarked jump reads exactly like a hidden data point, and they are different things.
  • Every study records which model it was measured with, so the history stays complete without anyone writing it down.

Find someone in the roster

  • The roster has a search box. Type a first name, a last name or an email and it finds them without you having to know which branch they are in. It ignores accents in both directions.
  • Help is a real screen now, with frequently asked questions and a form to write to us without leaving the product.
  • Your logo appears in downloadable reports, on the cover and on every page.
  • The history's index table now carries both indices together, the same columns as the downloadable file.

PDFs now include charts

  • The PDF report draws: bars, breakdowns and lines, with the same rules as the screen. It used to be a stack of number tables.
  • The steps of a scale are named with their words —"Not at all", "Somewhat", "A lot"— in the legend and in the headers, across all three formats. They used to come out as bare numbers.
  • There is a single way to walk through questions across the product: the same carousel, search and keyboard in a study and in the history.

The product speaks eight languages

  • Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese and Japanese. Each person picks theirs in My account → Organization and it applies without reloading, so a half-filled form isn't lost.
  • Only languages with a real translation are offered, each written in its own language: whoever needs to switch is, by definition, the person who doesn't understand the current one.

Try the whole product without creating an account

  • The demo is the product, not a mock-up. You get in from the pricing screen and walk through everything with sample data: structure, roster, questionnaires, results and statistics.
  • It includes a branch hidden by the confidentiality threshold, because that rule is a feature of the product and a demo with everything filled in would be showing something the tool doesn't do.
  • It is read-only: nothing you touch there is saved.

Downloadable reports

  • A study's results and the history download as Excel, PDF and an HTML deck ready to project in a meeting.
  • You can download everything or just the part you are looking at.
  • Whatever the confidentiality threshold hides on screen is hidden in the file too. A figure published by mistake in a spreadsheet cannot be unpublished.
